My husband received a call from a Dish Agent stating that because our receiver was old we would have to upgrade our system due to some satellite situation in space. The Dish agent assured us that because we were losing our signal through no fault of our own, we would not be in a new 2 year contract.
Just spent 2 hours on phone with 'customer service' the one time fee of $50.00 was actually a two time fee. My bank would not allow the second charge and now Dish has turned off our service. In order to turn on our service and avoid almost $500 in charges we need to sign a new contract.
