I have been trying to cancel my service for days and have yet to speak with someone to assist me. I have sat on hold for up to 30 mins everytime I've called and still NO response. Oh and I called over 10 times by now. This kind of customer service is completely disrespectful. I tried calling regular line and spoke to some lady who cannot help me and has to transfer me to the same line in which I sit on hold endlessly!!! Do not recommend using DishTV and will not be telling anyone else to join them either. Someone help me cancel!!

Unfortunately, you’ll just have to wait for a loyalty rep to cancel the account. That means being on hold.

Nobody has hours a day to just sit on hold. This is just ridiculous.

I can understand the frustration due to the long wait times to our Account Specialist Team, the only department that has the tools to cancel accounts. They have been busier than normal during this busy time of the year, which is causing those wait times. They are working as quickly as possible to be able to answer your call. I do apologize for this experience.

Perhaps it might be worthwhile to go to your State's Attorney General, you might not have to wait as long.
