I currently have an external drive on my Wally that is acting kind of flakey. I am concerned that it is about to die. I’d like to replace the drive, but I am concerned that I will lose all of the programs that I have recorded. The drive has a lot of recorded programs that I would like to transfer to a new drive; is this possible?
In general, is it possible to connect a second external drive to a Wally.
Hi, Mitch! I hate to hear about the trouble with the current hard drive. While our equipment is only designed to have access to one hard drive, it may not recognize a second drive on the Wally. Additionally, we would be unable to transfer the recordings to another drive. For example, since the Wally does not have a hard drive, we would be unable to transfer the recordings to the Wally, then the new drive. If you were to connect the drive to lets say a computer, it would ask to reformat causing the drive to erase any previously stored files.
