DVR causing Walley to re-set

When trying to us the DVR with my Walley, the Walley re-sets after a few seconds of play time.  This does not happen un-less playing back recorded shows from the DVR.  Have re-set the Walley numereous times but to no help.  The DVR only shows 1 percent of data storage used?  Any help?

Hello Wildbill! Before the Wally resets do you get any error messages or pop-ups? Has the Wally previously worked with the EHD?

No error message.  Just starts the re-set process.  Only if we try to replay something from the DVR

Yes, is connected to the optional Walley DVR/hard drive.

No, only using one Walley in the Living Room.

Let's try resetting the external hard drive's connections. Unplug it from the power and from the Wally for 10 seconds and plug it back in, let me know if you still get the issue when you're trying to watch DVR events!
