We have had Dish for several years and just the other day, finally upgraded to the Hopper setup. We also have been purchasing NHL Center Ice for the past few years. On the older guide menu, NHL center ice were listed in 15 chanels, (30 wiht SD duplicates). With the new Hopper guide, there's only 1 (2 with the SD duplicate). What is going on? We made no changes to our programming and Center Ice has already been purchased and paid for this season.
I realize the center ice on the hopper is chanel 475 and there's a + to click on which lists the available chanels as a drop down, but only two ever show up, regardless of how many games are on. Last night, there were a total of 11 games playing but we could only watch one.
This just depends on the night. Also not all games are available on NHL CI as this is determined by the NHL. You can see what games are available and on what channel at mydish.com/gamefinder though. I show that it goes up to 475-4 tonight.
Thank you. We figured out the issue. When the technician was installing the new setup, somehow our subscription to Center Ice was not transferred and it was showing in the system that we had cancelled it, which we had not. (We jsut finished making the 4th payment.) It was reactivated and now all the chanels are showing again, just as they were. There are a total of 30 - 15 HD, 15 SD.
We were also initially told by a Dish rep over the phone that they won't show unless a game was on, but that's not the case. All channels show on the guide whether there is a game on or not.
