BigDaddy4405, to clarify, is the app closing on its own? If so, have you tried to unplug the receiver from the power outlet for 15 seconds and plug back in?
Thanks! Let's check the Bridging setting; on your Dish remote press the Menu button once or the Home button twice and go to Settings > Internet > Advanced > Bridging and make sure it's set to On. Let me know what happens after that!
