Somehow I doubt Comcast, Spectrum, Verizon and etc will lose access to HBO/Cinemax. They will Negotiate the best deal they can get, whatever that might be and pass along the increase to the customers who want HBO. Which is exactly what DISH should have done in the first place.
If it was just the subscribers, that would be the case here too. Because ATt is asking for non subscribers to pay as well, which is why it is down. It has nothing to do with a price increase. There is no problem passing a price increase to subscribers of a premium channel. If they do the same thing to the other providers, it will be the same result.
I agree, April 1st is when i switch to DTV Or Comcast if this dispute is not resolved. Dish claims to be for the rural customers. But they seem to Forget most rural customers do not have access to high speed internet to be able to use HBO Now or any other streaming service. I like Dish and would prefer to stay. But I can see the writing on the wall.
