Been with Dish for a month. One problem spot we have is VOD from channels like National Geographic. When looking for show on the VOD list it's either not there or show information is incorrect. Yes I know VOD use the internet and I've verified the connection.
So the problem is between the Hopper and NEO? Okay, kind of figured that. My question now is where's the information or documents on troubleshooting? Links on the support site just loop you through the same basic user documents.
Looking for something a little more in-depth on the possible issues.
Consider it like a delivery service. You ordered a book from Amazon, UPS delivered it, but when you open the box the wrong book is there. Does UPS hold any responsibility here? No, of course not.
Likewise (to pick one at random) ABC offers programming both broadcast and on demand. The on demand programming may not show up until the day after it is broadcast. Or two days. Or three. Or a week. Or it might never show up at all, not everything ABC broadcasts is made available on demand. Does Dish hold any responsibility here? No, of course not. There's no 'troubleshooting' to do because there is no possible 'issue' to diagnose.
You want to crap on Dish for something they did? Go for it. You want to crap on Dish for something someone else did? That's a bit beyond the pale, don't you think?
