This started yesterday. I can no longer create any timers, existing recordings are not recording, Primetime Anytime is not recording. I have reset the box several times, unplugged it, reset it to factory settings- nothing works. Support tells me this is a known error and I just have to wait for "special tech support ticket" people to get back to me. Maybe in 4 days, maybe 10 days, maybe a couple weeks.

This is unacceptable. I watch ZERO live tv. I am paying for something that is useless. I just received the H3 exactly 60 days ago and was made to sign for a new 2 year contract.

HELP.

This is a known issue and we do not have any workarounds listed.

However, you can create a Manual Timer for the channel/time frame and it will record

There is no ETA we can provide on when this will be fixed. If you want to PM me your phone number, PIN and how many timers total you have set up I can get you added to the report.

I called last night and they were sending a tech out today. Will a new receiver fix this issue? I believe they already added me to this list- twice.

A replacement receiver will not correct this as it is a software issue, not hardware

Just received this error. Cant create any new timers. Tried deleting some brought the timers down to 46. Still wont accept a new one. Has there been any progress with this since last year?

I'm now also getting this error. I've tried reseting the hopper, did not help. What now?

Hi there, Johneightyone. We can certainly look into this concern with you. If you are having this issue, make sure that there is Guide information for the program you are trying to setup recording. If the event that you are trying to set to DVR, check the guide and if there is something similar to "Info Not Available" or "No Information", if there is, update the guide by either resetting the Hopper like you did, or free up a tuner to allow the guide to download in the back ground.

 

If the Guide information is up-to-date, check your Timers already setup and check to make sure that a similar event is already not setup interfering with the new timer you are trying to setup. Also, while checking, make sure that the Max Timer limit has not been met, as a total of 200 timers can be active at any given time. If you already have 200 timers you will need to delete at least one to make room for the new timer.

 

If after resetting the receiver, you are still continuing having this issue, send us a private message here with your phone/account number and 4-digit security code, so we can go more in-depth with you to resolve this issue.

An interesting suggestion Jason.  But unless you provide a userid for us to send this private message to, it isn't particularly useful.  Unless you are suggesting we should all send private messages to you...
