We had an issue the other day (lightning) and had to have a new reciever because the HDMI port no longer worked. They sent a replacement Hopper and we FINALLY got it all set up and got all our recordings from the old one on an external hard drive. However, when I go to Diagnostics, it shows Red X's in all the boxes for Tuner 3 and in the Conn boxes for Tuners 1 and 2. Any ideas?

Which Hopper model do you have? Are you on the new UI or the old one? Do you run into any errors watching TV?

It's not the Hopper 3. So a Hopper with Sling. New UI. Only seem to have "Complete Signal Loss" issues when other things would be recording...such as PT Anytime.

The lightning may have caused other issues with the dish then. Can you take a look at it and see if anything looks amiss or if something may be blocking it like branches? Also make sure all the cables from the Hopper to the wall are hand tight.

The previous Hopper had no issues, even after the lightning, aside from the HDMI port no longer working. It worked fine using component cables.

There's nothing blocking the Dish and the cables are hand-tight coming from outside.
