Probably Switching to Cable!

We are about ready to make the switch to our local cable company for TV viewing!
There are long periods of time we have a Complete Signal Loss and nothing works when we troubleshoot!
We've missed favorite shows, new movies, sporting events, etc. There is only one channel that our cable
provider does not have that Dish carries, so that is not big deal.

The signal loss happens for quite a length of time, some time frames are for hours or most of the day! Then at some point, we have a signal! Very frustrating that this has been happening everyday for the past couple weeks.

We've troubleshooted everything we can. Just not sure what is going on.

We have the original Hopper, so we can't expect better service when the new interface updates, from reading complaints at this forum. It's looking like we're going to ditch Dish soon. Not going to pay extra to upgrade to Hopper 3. We've been customers of Dish for a long time. It's too bad we have to leave, but we would like to watch TV again!

You need a onsite tech visit to check your signal and talk to the tech about the issues at hand as well.
