OTA adapter hangs with strong signal

No correlation to time of day. I thought for awhile that it might be heat related but it isn't consistent. When it hangs and you push select, you get a guide with the channel you are trying to select. If you again press select i.e. selecting the channel that hung, you get a blank screen that requires you to press MENU to get out of it.

Is the OTA an indoor or outdoor antenna?

Outdoor large Winegard Yagi. All stations register between 90-100 signal strength. No problems direct to another TV.

Can you please try rescanning for the channels? Here's how to do so:

40.0: DISH Remote > [SAT] > [MENU] > Settings > OTA Channels > Scan

5x.x: DISH Remote > [SAT] > [HOME] > [HOME] > Settings > OTA Channels > Scan

Once the scan is complete, select "Save".

I have previously rescanned at least a dozen times, but I rescanned again and the tuner finds 114/5 stations. Right after scanning, I selected KNBC Digital: 36 (UHF); Virtual: 4 (PSIP) and received the hung screen. KNBC seems to be the most common to error.

The OTA adapter still continues to periodically hang up. Any progress from Dish at resolving this??????
