Dish OTA adapter recently installed and works great if Hopper 3 is active. If Hopper is turned off, error 739 shows on all Joey's. Hopper and Joey's have been reset and no change. Wifi connections are good with good signal. Signal is strong from antenna. I repeat, all works good if Hopper is turned on.
With the OTA adapter, those locals now come through on their own tuner that is not a Hopper tuner. Because it is not a tuner from the Hopper, it may not go to the Joey's unless the Hopper itself is running. I can go ahead and pass along this feedback.
I know this maybe a little late, but I experienced the same the you did. My problem was in the setup. I have an indoor amplified antenna that I hooked up. I connect the antenna to the module and had the usb power connected to my tv. When my hopper and tv was on, everything worked great. Once I turned the hopper and tv off, I received the 739 error on my joeys. The reason for this is because my antenna received power from my tv. Once the tv was off no more power and no more signal. To any one else tat uses an amplified antenna, make sure it is plug into a dedicated outlet, not the hopper or the tv. Once I set the amplified antenna up with its own power, everything works great.
