My search found only posts from 2018 and the problem apparently hasn't changed.
Tried everything, pulling AC plugs, reset the receiver, no help but finally found the answer from other victims, thanks!
This may or may not have been a problem before Dish saw fit to rewrite the other code to "imoprove" things they should have left alone instead of throwing the former UI away and letting some incompetents screw it up.
I have the same problem. The only "solution" (and it is unacceptable) is to do a hard reset. Dish ought to fix this. If the problem becomes widely known, they will have to fix it. Who wants to join Dish if they know it has a problem with Netflix?
