Netflix streaming issues on Joey

Starting a few weeks ago watching netflex from my office through a joey is impossible .  It buffers and buffers all of the time.  A few weeks ago it was fine with no problems.  I have checked the wireless MBPS speed during this issue and it is alwaws around 80 MBPS, plenty fast enough to stream.  I can watch netflex through the hopper in the liv rm and it is always perfect.  Every time I call in its the same answer...they are working on it.  Well I am the one paying for this service and not getting it.

Have you turned bridging on? If not, do so. Also, have you tried running an Ethernet cable from your router to yourHopper?
Lastly, you do not pay Dish anything for the use of Netflix. There is no added cost between receivers with Netflix compared to counterparts that do not.

What is bridgeing? No way to run Ethernet one side of house to the other.

Bridging will be in the advanced settings for your internet on the Hopper. There are a lot of variables to test for WiFi, that is why Ethernet was recommended to atleast test with.

The quality of picture is poor on Netflix through my Joey but is fine from main Dish receiver. Can something be fixed to get the good streaming quality through the Joey?

nschank, when did you first notice that the drop in quality of the picture on your Joey? Do you have other Joeys that are doing the same thing?
