We have had instances of movies not recording properly. They either start late or end with a minimum of 25 minutes remaining. Is it a faulty hopper? Returned 1st hopper after less than 2 months service.
No I haven't tried extending recording times. It happens on movie channels and ends an hour or so early and in one instance stated approximately an hour later. It didn't occur to us that we would have to extend the recording time for movie channels. Frankly, we have had Dish since the end of March and have been some what frustrated with the system. The picture is great but one hopper died within 2 months and it was not used daily and now the strange problems recording. Dish Network says they are aware of this issue and are working on it.
