My interior decorator (wife), wants to get a wall mount into which you can insert the DVR behind the TV. Looks like it will be standing on one side. Allowing for proper ventilation, is this ok? If so, can a piece of coax be used to reposition the antenna? Thanks.

We do recommend that the Hopper is not moved and sits flat. It does have a spinning hard drive and I think that being behind a TV will cause it more likely to have issues (heat issues, even with ventilation). Occasionally we do need you to have access to the front panel as well. I would not recommend this

I 2nd Matts info.
The Hopper generates a lot of heat and needs to be WELL ventilated. Sitting behind a TV would NOT be a good idea.

Thanks. Now I won't have to say to the repairman..."it seemed like a good idea at the time".
