From the AV port on Hopper I distribute SD programming to a small TV on the second floor and another on the third floor. My Hopper is on the first floor so I ran a dedicated RG-6 cable putting the Hopper remote antenna on the second floor. It works well for the second floor TV but the third floor TV is very spotty. Often I have to go out into the hall to change channels.
Can I put a splitter in the RG-6 remote cable and put another remote antenna on the third floor? Can I use an old single wire UHF remote antenna on the third floor or do I need to buy a (2G ?) Hopper remote antenna?
