hello, I moved into a condo a few years ago and there is a Dish Antenna here that is taking up balcony space that I don't want. What do I do with it?

Hello aceharding. The DISH becomes property of the homeowner/renter. They're not required to remove and return them if they move or leave DISH, as we hope the next tenant will subscribe to our service.

If it's within reach and you'd like to remove it, that would be your choice, you're welcome to do so.
You also have the option to contact a local retailer which you can find at https://www.dish.com/find-retailer/
There may be fee's involved to have it removed.

I have never had to pay anything to take wires or old dishes down in a new place I moved to.  We simply were able to move them ourselves with a couple friends help and dicarded the dish and wires as instructed by our local waste collection guys.  Paying for that is uneccesary when it can easily and legally be done yourself.  Dish Network wont do it without charging you for sure.  Good luck and please dont fall for scams in removing them.
