farrell556, can you please elaborate on the issue that you are having. Are you pressing FWD multiple times, and it won't play where you wanted to stop, is it not fast forwarding at all, etc.?
same symptoms others are having that was at the beginning of this discussion. any ffwd causes jump to end of recorded program. rwd same way, attempting to rwd causes jump to beginning. Very eratic playback performance.
Thanks for clarifying that for us, Farrell556. Can your provide the model of your remote please? If you're not sure what it could be, it should be located on the back, and look like, 40.0.
I understand experience or even finding a solution to this issue can get a little aggravating. We do ask questions one at a time, as the result to your answer could change our follow up questions. However, I would be happy to ask a you a few questions that would normally be the cause for this issue.
When you're pressing fast forward or rewind, are you pressing the button multiple times or just once, when it skips to the end of the episode?
Since the Super Joey gets all of the information it's showing on the TV it's connected to from the Hopper, there could be a communication issue between them. Have you tried to hard reset the Super Joey and the Hopper at the same time? This would consist of unplugging the Hopper and Super Joey from the power source for 15 seconds and plug it back in.
unplugged both 15 secs. still same problem. playback jumps to the end after ffwd. another issue after pausing and coming back to program, unpause and with a seconds it jumps to live tv
Thank you for providing this information! Do you have any other issues with using the remote, other than the ffwd, rwd, and pausing buttons?
Can you please un-pair the Dish remote from the Super Joey please. You will need to push the menu button three times to take you to the Diagnostics screen, from there you will see the option to un-pair. Once that is done Please re-program once again to see if this resolves the issue please.
