After experiencing several glitches with the old Dish system that we had, they came out last week to switch out the receivers for Hopper. One week later, the new system is now having problems with the smartcard (perhaps not so smart).
In calling and talking with several representatives, the best they could do was put a smartcard in the mail to me that will take 2 to 3 days to arrive. Mind you, that is 2 to 3 days that I will NOT have tv access and ZERO service. It will not operate for anything not even the DVR.
Hint: Perhaps better customer service in resolving these kinds of issues FASTER or in a more timely manner will prevent folks from pondering whether they should drop this service and find something else.
