I think I finally solved this issue. I was so irritated every night my Joey will loose connection to the Hopper. Dish was never able to fix it, tho they replaced all my units multiple times. Finally, I switched the FTP cable from the Dish receiver to the hopper and replaced it with a fast CAT5 cable. I have not loose signal since. Hopefully this helps
