Hopper 3 installed ~4 months ago, had to run new coax from Hopper into attic and hub it connects to as well, because of higher bandwidth requirements H3 has than rhe H2 had.About 2 months ago started cutting off recordings, missing recordings. Tech came out and found the coax connector in attic fromm H3 to hub had end burnt off. Tech replaced hub cut off cable end and intalled new connector, problem fixed.
For over last 2 weeks some shows cutting off. Had Dish on phone and found problem was again signal loss, checked the hub connections in attic and found an end burnt again, tech comming out tomorrow. So second time it's happened in less than 6 months.
I've never seen or heard of anything like this before.
Has anyone else.
Any suggestions to get a more lasting fix done this time?
The Dishnetwork tech came out, replaced the hub, clipped the coax and put new connector on it (AGAIN), everything seems fine again but I really wonder if this is gonna happen again in another 2 or 3 months.
