I just recently became a Dish customer (5 days ago), and so far am enjoying the Dish features. However, I have been trying to download a rental and the first two times it says the download failed. I tried again today with a different rental and for the last 3 hours it says "processing your request...". At first I thought maybe it was a problem with my internet, but I have no problem streaming a Netflix movie on my Hopper 3. I have one Hopper 3 and 3 Joey's. It won't even let me cancel the download.
My internet speed is doesn't seem to be the problem. I was able to stream Netflix with no buffering. I actually contacted Dish Support and they indicated there was a problem that had been escalated to the engineers. The very next day I was able to download both the scheduled VOD programs.
