At least 10 times since I had my DISH installed on Wed. December 6th, I have no sound. I turn the TV Off and back On to no avail. I must remove the connection to the box and plug it back in to get my sound back. Is this common or is something wrong?
Can you try using a new or different cable and see if anything changes? Since it works when you unplug it, it could either be the cable or the connection ports on the TV or receiver. If you have another TV available, you can try using that one as well and see if it runs into the same snags.
